Policies

• Check in time: 4:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM. Flexible check in times may be available with prior arrangement.
  
  
• Check out time: 11:00 AM or earlier. Please be considerate and prompt. Staff is on duty at 11 a.m. to clean with a narrow time frame to prepare the units for the next guests.
  
  
• No Smoking/No Pets: For your comfort and the comfort of others Almost Paradise Lodging has a No Smoking and a No Pets policy. Smoking is permitted outside only.
  
  
• No additional persons beyond the original reservation are allowed. No visitors.
  
  
• Rates are per night based on double occupancy.
  
  
• Rates are subject to state and local taxes.
  
  
• Rates and taxes are subject to change.
  
  
• Valid credit card required to guarantee reservation.
  
  
• Visa and MasterCard accepted. Cash, check, travelers check or money order preferred.
  
  
• Booking Deposit/Cancellation Fee is one night's lodging or ½ of stay, whichever is larger.
  
  
• Advance cancellation notice of 15 days before arrival date is required for a full refund of the booking deposit/cancellation fee; less $20 charge after a payment has been processed. Holiday periods may require a 30 day cancellation notice.
  
  
• In the event you cancel within our 15-day cancellation policy, we reserve the right to charge your credit card the amount of the booking deposit/cancellation fee, if you have not previously sent a deposit via regular mail.
  
  
• Rescheduling, moving dates, dropping dates or otherwise changing any aspect of your reservation is considered a cancellation of one reservation and initiating of a new reservation.
  
  
• Partial cancellations of a reservation within our 15-day cancellation policy, will result in the amount of the booking deposit/cancellation fee going towards the night/nights cancelled.
  
  
• Cabin and guest houses are self-catering independent stays. Guests will leave the cabin and guest houses in the same condition as found at the time of arrival, including washing dishes. Our staff will wash linens and towels, change bedding, replenish towels, remove garbage, clean floors and disinfect the kitchen and bathroom fixtures between stays of guests.
  
  
• Guests will not remove the sanitation floater provided in each hot tub. Guests will not put additives in the hot tub; no bubble bath, bath oils, etc. Guests will not use glass beverage containers in or around the hot tub; please use plastic. Be careful to not spill beverages or food in the hot tub.
  
  
• In the event of damage/loss/smoking/pets/excess cleaning, Almost Paradise Lodging reserves the right to charge your credit card for appropriate repair/replacement/cleaning expenses. Applicable fees may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Damaged/stained robe; $50 to replace
  • Damaged/stained quilt; $25 to clean or $150 to replace
  • Excessive cleaning of cabin or guest house; $25 per hour, one hour minimum
  • Emergency dumping and cleaning of hot tub; $100
  • Late check out; chargeable at $50 per hour, unless previously approved

Almost Paradise Lodging strives to maintain the cabin and guest house rentals, furnishings, equipment and amenities in the finest condition. Almost Paradise Lodging is not responsible for unforeseen adverse road and/or weather conditions, power outages, failures of appliances such as hot tub, sauna, gas fireplace, DVD, CD, TV, etc. whether due to acts of nature or misuse of guests. Almost Paradise Lodging will schedule any repair and/or replacement necessary as soon as possible under prevailing circumstances. Inconveniences, under which we may have no immediate control, do not warrant any refund of rental monies. There are no refunds for early departures or power failures.

This property is privately owned and the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or loss of valuables of any kind. We reserve the right to evict violators of Almost Paradise Lodging policies without refund.

Availability

Don't hesitate to inquire about last minute availability or single night stays!
Standard minimum stay is two nights. Single nights may be available. A single night is more likely available mid-week. Please feel free to inquire. When single nights are accepted, we ask you to be flexible as to which guest house or cabin you stay in. Single night rate is based on the rate of the unit stayed in. Some holiday periods may require a longer minimum stay.
